Date of Birth: 29/10/1999
Owner: Mr. C. Kock
CAPRIVI combines the best bloodlines Holstein has to offer for jumping horses, and comes out of one of the best dam lines in Europe.
Sire “Indoctro” was the Nr. 2 of the German jumping index 2005 (Nr. 3 in 2006) and the Nr. 9 worldwide.
The Netherlands gave him the distinction “keur” which is only given to the very best stallions like “Ramiro”, and now “Indoctro.”
His sire “Capitol” has been for many years under the first 10 of the international jumping index, and is still dominating international jumping, through his offspring like Gitania, and sons like Indoctro, Cento, Cassini, Carthago.
Grandsire Caletto II is the sire of Olympic Gold Medal winner “Classic Touch” and many others.
Livree/Uniform is by ‘Lord’ (Holstein), who eg. 2003 was the Nr. 14 the international jumping index, and the nr. 29 in the dressage index. He produced Olympic medal winners in jumping (Livius) and dressage!(Larius). At the Equitana during a Holsteiner show he himself jumped every night over 2.00m
A good stallion always comes out of a strong dam line. Caprivi is out of the Holstein line 474a, one of the best in Europe. In Germany a cousin of Caprivi (bred out of Livree’s half sister) is “Calato” – the sire of European Champion and Olympic medal winner “Coester” and many other good grand prix horses, like “Clausen”.
N Aldato, international horse and stallion (Emil Hendrix) stands in the Netherlands.
“Royal Cavalier” is one of the best stallions in Ireland, and was 2006 the nr 9 worldwide!
A grandson of “Livree” was licensed in Holstein 2006 and sold to France for one million Rand.
Caprivi stands at 1.67m and was given a 9.0 for jumping technique and 8.5 for ability by Mr David Stubbs during licensing.
He represents the modern sport horse type, tough, quick reactions, very clear minded and performance orientated. After being only a few months under saddle, he won the D grade championship in Swakopmund 2006. During training he jumped an A grade course with ease.
